- The forearm & heel are constructed from very dark Gabon Ebony! Eight ghost points outlined in Cocobolo plus+ Eight Snakewood re-cuts!
- The Ebony heel has a masterfully executed design that consists of amazing fine silver, snakewood, cocobolo, and natural white! The fine, pure silver work in this cue is absolutely mesmerizing!
- 58″ Total length together- Butt weight- 15.9 oz.
- The F&B of the cue are separated with a premium black Liz wrap that looks and feels great!
- Two Maple shafts included- # 1- 3.9 oz- 12.85 m. Straight- # 2- 3.8 oz- 12.75 m. ( Slight taper roll but the tip doesn’t come off the table when rolled. )

- The natural forward balance and EXTREMELY solid hit of this cue are out of this world good!!!
- The overall condition is EXCELLENT! Very well kept all the way around. There are a couple tiny marks at the bottom of the butt cap that are barely noticeable and next to nothing. - A little history & information about the cuemaker:
- Michael Vollmer is a renowned German custom cue builder with over three decades of experience, specializing in high-end, handcrafted pool cues that blend exquisite craftsmanship, innovative designs, and superior playability. He’s widely regarded as one of the top cuemakers globally.
- Vollmer started building cues around 1991 and trained under Tony Sciannella of Black Boar cues, mastering advanced techniques like deep knifed points and solid cores. His work has gained international acclaim.
- Vollmer uses premium materials like ebony, cocobolo, curly maple, and birdseye maple, with intricate inlays, re-cut points, diamond ringwork, and luxurious wraps.
- Designs often draw from Black Boar influences but feature unique woods, materials, and playability.
- Due to demand, many are built on spec and sell quickly; his waiting list for custom builds is now over two years.Vollmer’s cues are praised for their build quality, aesthetics, and “excellent hit,” playing distinctly from similar styles. Feedback is overwhelmingly positive, with cues considered collector-grade for serious players.
- These are hard to acquire, often selling out fast!
- Notable Achievements and Users:
- Professional player Thorsten Hohmann won the WPA World Nine- ball Championship using a Vollmer cue. His pieces, like the “lvory Arrows” or “Brown Sugar” cues, appear in prestigious collections and top cuemaker rankings.
