This is a spectacular piece from a private collection! #2 of 15, built in a series! This cue commemorates the 30th year anniversary of one of the greatest cue makers ever to practice the craft. Truly a master of masters in the industry. Mr. Thomas Wayne is a living legend. This amazing work of art is a fine example of his touch of excellence. Every inch of the cue exemplifies the fine skill of his craftsman. It features: Suriname Snakewood in the forearm/butt section, the handle is double-spliced joining, and is of California Claro Walnut Burl. The forward & reverse points are all Antique Pre ban natural material featuring his signature look of interlacing together, and have Sterling Silver Accents throughout. A lot of intricate engraving went into the design theme, such as his logo & the number “30” in two panels and a banner wrapped “30” in the fifth panel; the banner is micro-engraved to read “no. 2- of- 30”. There is a separately inlaid Sterling Silver bezel surrounding an Antique Pre-ban natural white dot. The dots are engraved with the number “2” reflecting the cue’s position in the series. All of the natural material used as documented by Mr. Wayne was from a purchase he made in the 1980’s.
