  • John Robinson built around 30-40 Cues per year during his career. He lived in Scottsdale Arizona & California. John retired in 2008 due to Dementia and passed away in 2016. ( R.I.P. ) Robinson Cues were made famous in the book “Playing of the Rail” from 1994. His cues were known to play great with a slightly thinner butt and stiff taper. Easily recognized by the joint pins in the shafts as Burt Spain did. They had the innovation of a metal spacer so all of the shafts could be interchangeable and the hit unique! Although many of John’s cues such as this one were not signed, it’s been said that “you can spot a Robinson cue from across the room!” His innovative and obviously creative work is easily identified…….
