- Standard size 58″ Cue total length together
- Two 3.8 oz- 12.8 m Maple shafts included
- Condition is really good overall especially for a 1990! A good friend of ours bought the cue back in 2005 from a collector in Los Angeles.
- It was sent to Robinson in 2010 for a complete refinish and it has had very little play time since! ( 100% Safe Queen! ) There are only minor signs of use, nothing serious. One of the shafts has a small lift in the center when rolled but the tip doesn’t come off the table. The finish still looks like glass! What a Gem of a cue this is!!!
- John Robinson built around 30-40 Cues per year during his career. He lived in Scottsdale Arizona & California. John retired in 2008 due to Dementia and passed away in 2016. ( R.I.P. ) Robinson Cues were made famous in the book “Playing of the Rail” from 1994. His cues were known to play great with a slightly thinner butt and stiff taper. Easily recognized by the joint pins in the shafts as Burt Spain did. They had the innovation of a metal spacer so all of the shafts could be interchangeable and the hit unique! Although many of John’s cues such as this one were not signed, it’s been said that “you can spot a Robinson cue from across the room!” His innovative and obviously creative work is easily identified…….
