- VERY SPECIAL RICHARD BLACK
- We could not be more excited to have this stunning cue available in our inventory at Crossroad Cue!
- What truly makes this particular creation extra special is that it is a one of a kind that was made for a long time personal friend of the legendary Texas Hall of Fame Master Cuemaker!
- Originally made and signed in 1997! ( All original condition ) and so clean & well kept that it literally looks like it just came out of a time machine from a very special time in pool in the 1990’s!!!!
- What a GREAT find this is! To put it plainly, “They just don’t make them like this anymore!”
- In fact Richard stopped signing his work a number of years ago, the signed ones like this especially in “one off” designs have become very collectable!
- 4- Floating Snakewood points that immediately draw your attention close because they along with the windows are entirely outlined in pure silver!
- In-fact the entire canvas of this beautiful piece of art is encompassed with pure fine silver work!
- The joint and white inlays are natural material.
- Each laser straight silver line between the points & windows are accented with Mother of Pearl notched diamonds that really compliment the combination of woods utilized in the design!
- Three different examples of premium select woods where selected to build this unique, extraordinary cue!
- Heavily figured Birdseye Maple, Snakewood, and Gabon Ebony!
- 58″ Total length together- Butt weight- 15.7 oz
- Natural White Piloted 5/16-14 Pin.
- Two premium old growth maple shafts included.
- Both shafts are very clean & straight just like the day they rolled off the lathe in the iconic shop!
- Both are 29″ 4.0 oz- 12.85 m. IV. Ferrules.
- A matching Joint Cap was created to give it the perfect finishing touch. Cue is signed by Richard Black February 25, 1997!
- Everything rolls straight together and apart! The overall condition is as nice and clean as possible for a cue of this age! There are barley any signs of play or use besides a few minor marks on the butt cap. The collector that owned it kept it stored in the proper climate and conditions to preserve it in a remarkable way! This is definitely a GEM of a cue!
- Note: Richard Black is regarded as one of the greatest cuemakers in the industry, he is known as the most creative and a true artist whose canvas just happens to be a pool cue……….. Richard or “RB” as he is referred to has literally won about every award that you can imagine during his decades of successful cuemaking……. All of that aside, he has been the “go to” builder of many Champions and legends of the game for their favorite and best playing cues!
